Gabriel José de la Concordia García Márquez

His work has inspired me since I first opened “One Hundred Years of Solitude.” He taught me to stand outside of what is expected, to use my imagination whatever may come, and to always allow beauty in any form to grace the spaces between my words. I have loved him unrequited and unknown to him; irregardless of his politics. So ode to one of my most loved writers after he moved on to other dimensions…a simple Haiku of Goodbye.
